El Super Hit - COZUMEL

We stopped here several times for lunch because they have fantastic tacos and tortas, but also because they are open during the day (many places open only later. The chorizo tacos and the pastor Torta were personal favorites from our group, and we definitely tried... a good piece of the menu over 5 days in Cozumel. The location on TA looks wrong. The restaurant is definitely located on Av.Pedro Joaquin Cordel, opposite the Dominos Pizza, Calle Doctor Adolfo. Cheap, local cuisine that tastes amazing. Look at it.

We have often come here on many excursions to the island and it has never failed to deliver. This time I had the Cochinita Taco and Bistek mexicano, my wife had the chickens Torta and everything was very good. With 2 coke it came... to 210 Peso ~12 US dollars)

This is the hand below to find the absolutely best place in Cozumel Cochinita Pabil (Roasted Pig)! If you have never tried, you will love Loncheria Super El Hit! I prefer the Tortas (Tacos are also good, but Tortas just make it exceptional). You always taste amazing and while there are a number of sauces, I love the Habanero! Good trip in town and away from the beach. I always command a few extras to take home as they taste incredibly reheated/moisted the next day (if they last so long)!

My husband and I went looking for authentic Mexican food away from the touristy shopping areas. This place was amazing!! And the prices were great too. Super cheap!
