Bidra med feedbackFernando is a completely phenomenal chef doing great work. The Conchinita Pibil is a Yucatan treasure that everyone should try .This place is a hidden gem of the Island
The staff are nice and helpful. The drinks were ok but on the weaker side. The ceviche was high on tomato and vinegar. I ordered a vegetarian grilled mushroom sandwich. The bread was very sweet, oily, and fried into an odd box shape around the veggies (not good). The chicken fajitas were ok, but about 1/3 the size you would get in a US Mexican restaurant, my daughter enjoyed her Mahi Mahi, and the tacos Al pastor were just ok. Having traveled all over the Yucatan, this was not a great example of local cuisine.
Great food and good corner cafe to eat and watch the city go by! Well plated food, with very well prepared fish tacos and drinks. Good with our allergen issues (gluten/dairy) and they definitely took care of us with a quick seating during the middle of the evening. Highly recommend!
There you'll find the chicken enchiladas with 3 moles that are to DIE for! We also tried the 4 moles appetizer, but just weren't as impressed. My husband had the fajitas and pronounced them ok. Service is fast and friendly, and the cocktails are unique and tasty. We plan to go back again during our 2 week stay.
We spent 2 weeks in Cozumel this spring. We ate lots of wonderful food in lots of good restaurants. A lot of places though are pretty similar. Guacamole & chips, tacos, nachos, fajitas, margaritas, Dos Equis, you know. But we found a couple of less typical menus too. One of them was at Cielito Lindo. It's a block inland from the beach at Calle 3 and 5th. We had nice cocktails and unique dishes. My wife had vegi a stuffed chili with avocado and cream and I had the pork shank braised in beer and wine. It was amazing! The seasonings and the acidic braising with the pork were just out of this world good. For that dish alone I had to write this review.
