The Farmers Arms - County Durham

A group of 14 of us went to this restaurant for food and drinks. The decor and atmosphere are fantastic, and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent value for money, and everyone in our group raved about how delicious their meals were. There wasn't a single complaint. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place. Thank you Farmers Arms, a hidden gem in Shadforth.

Outstanding food at a great price - three courses for £20 with generous portions. The menu offers a wide variety of options and the service from the friendly and attentive staff is excellent. The atmosphere is lovely and we highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I had dinner at this restaurant on Tuesday night. The restaurant has a nice, clean, and cozy atmosphere and it's easy to find parking. The food did take a while to be served and my order was missing, but for only £10 for a 3-course meal, I can't complain. The quality of the food was actually very good. The young staff members worked hard to serve customers, which was appreciated. My only suggestion would be to improve the kitchen team for quicker and better service, especially during busy times like festivals. Despite the hiccups, we had a great meal and a great time. Well done.

Just got back from the farmer's Arms with my husband, 1duck and liver pate and 1 tempura prawns, 2 turkey Xmas dinners, 1 Xmas pud with brandy sauce and 1 bramble crumble with custard plus a drink each bill came to just under £32 ABSOLUTE BARGAIN. All served by wonderful staff nothing was too much trouble, definitely recommend this place
