Good gumbo, they followed covid19 regulations.I picked up, now will visit for dine in.

I really enjoy this restaurant. It's hard to find good gumbo in the area, but this place is fantastic. Since I don't eat seafood, the chicken gumbo and G7 dish are perfect for me. I do think it's a bit strange that they are closed on a weekday, though.

I always order the G7 Shrimp Gumbo along with the Shrimp Gumbo, since the latter doesn't have any vegetables. The flavor is always on point and the dishes are served hot! Customer service can be inconsistent; sometimes they seem to forget that it's a business and not their home. However, the food quality remains reliable, which is what really matters to me. The last time I visited, they ran out of roux by 7 PM. I found that amusing, considering it's the name of the restaurant (similar to Harold's running out of chicken). It was also their first day back open after a two-day closure!

I had a great experience at Nina's! I enjoyed the gumbo, loaded mashed potatoes, and shrimp and grits. The food was just the soul food I love — flavorful, hearty, and made with real ingredients, not that light and airy stuff. The dining room was clean and charming. The only thing missing was an alcoholic beverage, as they lost their license during the pandemic. If you’re in the Country Club Hills area, I definitely recommend checking it out!

The food is excellent. I'm sorry to learn that they are currently closed.
