The Porch - Council Bluffs

Fabulous food! They are a busy bar and grill they also have an outdoor area with volleyball, cornhole and other activities. The prices are fair for the large amount of food you get. Service was good despite being super busy! This will be a future repeat on my next trip up.

I love going here! Their Mac and Steak is the best. I've also had their Buffalo pizza and their crust is good. I also love that they have multiple types of fries. Just recently tried some of their drinks. Jodi's lemonade .

The primerib was soo good. My niece and family loved their meals. The staff was super helpful and vigilant. They seemed to work as a team to keep up a family atmosphere from the mixed plates to the service.

To start this off, I am 100% heartbroken that the fried avocado that is mentioned in their reviews in the past and shown in older photos is no longer available. It was my inspiration for going and I was so looking forward to them. Now, I decided to still eat there. I ordered the sirloin bites (sans horseradish sauce. They were quite good. Very tender. I am sure many people will say I violated good steak with ketchup, but I am okay with that. Got the pulled pork sandwich and a side salad. The salad was larger than I was expecting, but decent. They added chopped red onions for me that is not normally on it. The ranch was good, but the cups were small. I ended up asking for a second cup and when the bill came at the end I was a little surprised to see a 50 cent charge for the extra ranch. The sandwich was disappointing. Not enough meat compared to the size of the bun at all. I ended up picking the top bun off and eating the pork with a fork. This would have been greatly improved with about double the meat and the onions being a crispy style instead of just sliced red onion rings. Probably won't return unless they can bring back the avocado.

Collin was excellent in accommodating my wife and I on her birthday. His service and kindness was excellent and he was very prompt on the food. As far as the food goes it was DELICIOUS! we drove from Offutt to try it and will definitely come back for more. Excellent menu options and specials.
