Hog Stop - Council Bluffs

Did some shopping nearby and happened upon this little restaurant and bar. Thought we'd grab a bite to eat. The service was top notch. Just the perfect amount of friendly but not in your face. We ordered the pork loin sandwich with fries. The sandwich was delicious, perfect. The portion so big (good thing we shared one) that we both left stuffed. If you're in the area, stop by. Not a fancy place, and prices are just right.

Went to the Hog stop bar, in Omaha. And watched my brother kyle,play drums for tom buller band had a great time.

The food was absolutely amazing, and they have buffets several times a week

We stopped by on a Saturday night on the way to a Creighton game and were very surprised. We were there just before 5 and the waitress told us about the buffet that would be starting at 5 and decided to wait. I normally do not like BBQ from a buffet but everything on this was fresh! The Cornbread was so soft and moist and very flavorful. The corn casserole was awesome as well. Ribs, Pulled Pork and sausages were right on point and my girlfriend really liked the meatballs. Service was awesome and they went above and beyond to make you feel at home. Had a chance to chat with the owner and he even gave some tips on smoking food. Will be back and can't wait to try the brunch on the weekends.

Oh my goodness, what a delicious experience! The spicy beans were amazing, and the cornbread was homemade—so smooth and bursting with flavor. The smoked mac and cheese was absolutely heavenly. It was an excellent dinner overall. The staff was friendly and offered prompt and accurate service. I really tried to find something to critique about my meal, but I just couldn't; everything was outstanding. Thank you, HOG STOP!
