John Street Cafe - COTTESLOE

I have been going to the John Street restaurant for breakfast/brunch for many years now, and even though it seems to have new owners, the quality has remained consistent. They use excellent ingredients and offer a variety of breakfast and lunch options for dining in or takeout. Breakfast is available all day and lunch service begins at 11:30am. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, making it a dog-friendly cafe. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and even during busy times, you can usually find a table in less than 20 minutes.

Such a beautiful cafe on a leafy street. Lovely service and play area for kids. Fabulous that there is a savoury vegan option on the menu too!

This café is nowhere near where we live however we will venture over there, say once a month, for coffee and a muffin.  The muffins are definitely the best in Perth.  Always different and just so fresh.  The service is always efficient and friendly.  We just love it.  As an added bonus, it is dog friendly.

Simple food done well. The cakes are all so yummy and not overly sweet. Hits the right spot. Coffee was also good. Ordered a mango smoothie that was soo nice and smooth and not so sweet. Would come back for the nice ambience and the food.

Attended John Street Cafe in September of 2018. Tucked away near residential houses, this place is absolutely outstanding! I ordered The Johns Lot and a Strawberry Smoothie for brunch. The Johns Lot (or the Big Breaky) came with everything as advertised and tasted great. The Strawberry Smoothie was a welcomed fresh addition to my meal. The Staff are outstanding and are always there to help. We did not have to wait long to be seated or to order. Prices are reasonable for the location and quality of the meal.
