Cedarhurst Mansion - Cottage Grove

Serving the best afternoon tea in Minnesota. The place is beautiful and authentic. The mansion is marvelous.

Such an awesome experience being able to dine in this mansion that has been in Cottage Grove for so long! The chef was so nice and came out to talk to our table. The food was so good and it was just a fun night sitting in what felt like a ballroom!

I went here for afternoon tea with my mom for a Mother's Day present. The house is so beautiful and they did a fantastic job serving everyone! We had a great time. Also, kudos on being ready and willing to provide caffeine free tea. Delicious and warm. Scones and dessert portions were delicious. Potential improvements: An introduction to the house history and/or history of afternoon tea would be so cool and really make the experience. Fix up the guard house or shed that is right on the driveway. It ruins the grandeur of the place a bit when you have a rotting part. The sandwiches where pretty good, but could be improved (especially the egg salad) the scones and dessert were to die for- please don't change!

Wow Cedarhurst Mansion was a fun place to come for high tea. They have a 9 course high tea service, and it has everything that you want! They have serve two different teas during the course of the service. The place: The mansion is beautiful. Everything is kept up nicely and is in great condition. Before tea, we walked around the grounds to look at the outside and the garden too, which is amazing. The high tea: The high tea service here worked liked a well oiled machine. The workers did a fantastic job and had great attitudes! The food was delicious, and the desserts were sweet! The tea was good too. They switch to a different tea right before dessert plates. Overall a great experience for a great price! It was fun and the food was good. Will definitely be looking for an excuse to come back!

What a blast! We came here for an afternoon high tea and it was so much fun. The place was decked out with Christmas decorations and looked very festive. The moment we were seated, we were greeted with adorable tea mugs and table setting. The entire atmosphere was very classy. The teas were so aromatic and perfect with all the tiny food treats. Although the portions were small, we were surprisingly full after the 9-course meal. The food were good but my favorite was the white chocolate cranberry scone with Devonshire cream. It was so light and rich at the same time. It was definitely an experience! Make sure to check out Groupon before making a reservation.
