Bidra med feedbackI absolutely love their lattes! If you close your eyes, you'd think you were at Starbucks. The ambiance is wonderful, and the baristas are both refined and polite, consistently crafting a fantastic cup of coffee every time.
The drip and espresso coffee both taste terrible and are overpriced. The shop gets quite cold in the winter due to a side entrance that allows chilly air to come in. On the positive side, the location is clean and situated in Cavendish Mall, making it one of the few coffee shops that's easily accessible by car, with plenty of free parking available.
The coffee here is excellent, and the pastries are great as well. Last time, they had a quiche that was absolutely delicious. The two girls who were working this morning were friendly and a pleasure to interact with, unlike staff at some other places who can be quite unfriendly. This has become my new favorite spot.
The quality of the coffee can vary depending on who is preparing it. The food selection leaves something to be desired. On the positive side, it is kosher-friendly, has a pleasant atmosphere, and is a nice spot for studying. Typically, they are open until about 7 or 8, depending on how busy they are. They close early on Fridays for Shabbat and remain closed on Saturdays, as well as during religious holidays. The place is clean and offers a range of coffee and beverage options. They have a selection of pre-made sandwiches, salads, and some desserts like pastries and cakes. I believe it has been open for around two years, making it a relatively new establishment.
I had the most disappointing experience ordering coffee today. The staff is usually delightful, and I often stop by when I'm at the mall and need a caffeine fix, always ordering the same drink at the same price. However, today, the owner took my order for the first time, and it turned out to be my worst customer service experience in a while. She attempted to overcharge me by $2.55 and argued with me about it. Thankfully, her attentive staff pointed out her error, but instead of apologizing, she insisted that she should actually charge me more! I was taken aback; a simple apology would have sufficed. Instead, she made things worse by suggesting that the regular price was a good deal. The customer service was terrible, and I did not deserve to be treated that way. I won't be returning to this café. I won’t miss it much, as other reviewers have mentioned, the coffee isn't that great and is overpriced. I’ll take my business elsewhere. This was truly the worst experience!
