Social Costa Mesa

It was a last minute reservation for us to try this place. has a good ambiente and a very funny place. the menu is a bit small for what we are used, but it was good quality eating. the cocktails are great.

We have eaten at Social many times and we are always pleased. My husband had Waygu tri tip and it was excellent. I had the burger and it was so good. Our waitress was friendly and helpful too.

Awesome cocktail selection and if there's something specific you're looking for the bartenders are super creative. Mushroom toast starter is really good especially if you like goat cheese. It's good for sharing. Great burger, I definitely recommend getting it with the egg and bacon add-ons and of course the fries on the side. We went with the chocolate cake dessert. It was good but not as amazing as the doughnuts. The ambience is great- super lively and upbeat. I would say it's a good 2nd or 3rd date spot but it might be too loud for a first date unless you're going for something casual.

This little Social experiment is awesome! The food was excellent, the service was great, and reasonable for the quality of food. We will definitely be returning with friends, the Social is too good not to share!

Have been to Social multiple times and this was absolutely the worst visit. Definitely will not be back for a weekend dinner reservation. Brunch or non-weekend nights is the way to go 1. Server, Natalia ?? was the worst server. Either was too busy, too disorganized to come and take our drink or food orders. 2. Ordered dinner for 3 and the order for one of our party came AFTER everybody else had eaten. When we asked the server she wasn 't sure and she 'd check. 3. Even with the poor meal service we were going to get dessert. While we were talking to her, the table next to us taps her on the shoulder, she stops talking to us, turns around and takes their additional order. Are you serious? One person in our party who is the most laid back person said when she finally turned back to us, just the check, please . Extremely disappointed in the service and unsure if we 'll be back. We really like the place but poor service is a turnoff and one person sitting their twiddling their thumbs while everybody else eats is uncomfortable.
