Bidra med feedbackThis is more like a 4 review to be honest. I really liked our server and the food was great. The herradura margarita was STRONG, but I don't complain... it was nice to have a version that wasn't dominated by the mixer. The whole fried fish comes...cort, so it's easy to eat. Tacos were great and the chips w/pico de gallo were beautiful and fresh. It has a beautiful open air (covered) view of the beach, which also means that many providers wander to sell Tchotchkes; I notice that this can be cultural, but it feels really invasive after the 4th visitor. The staff ignores them, but they are not the ones who are goals. The only visitors I want are restaurant staff at my table. The table next to us had a group of ladies and one gave foot massages to every lady. They would lift their feet on the lap of the massaged woman, and it is a rather inconspicuous sight when you try to eat. It is also completely against health codes in food service. Yes, it would also be nice if your buses clean tables sooner after departure. There were many dirty table tops.
We met friends at Rocio's for drinks and appetizers and loved the relaxed casual mexico vibe. It is right on the beach with palapa style roof-open air. Great! We'll be back.
Waiter was ignorant He visited our table not well Did not order Chilaquiles at once after serving, that he told us that the sauce was from the can because it was not fresh. Steak was like leather cutting.
Casual option for good seafood in Punta de Mita. Toes in the sand with a view of the bay. Fairly crowded when we were there for a late lunch off season mostly non Americans. Wife and I ordered the seafood platter for two, which...was way more food than we could eat. The food itself was hit and miss. Some of it (camarones, grilled snapper) were excellent, while others fell short (dry tuna, chewy pulpo). The beer was cold and the bill very easy to swallow. All in all a decent choice for a cheap, low expectation seaside lunch.
