Angry Marlin Restaurant And Palapa Bar

The service was outstanding! The appetizers were delicious, and the special of the day, Cobia served with steamed rice and green beans, was the perfect way to end our evening!

It seemed like a charming and inviting spot, conveniently located near our hotel. The food was decent but didn’t have enough flavor for my taste, and I found the prices to be excessively high for what was offered. The service was quite good considering they were short-staffed, which is why I settled on a 3-star rating.

We were informed that the restaurant couldn't accommodate parties larger than six, so we proposed splitting our group into a table for five and a table for four. However, they still refused to seat us. It was unclear why they couldn't make that arrangement. Overall, it was not a good first experience. The managers were unfriendly and told us to go elsewhere.

I'd rather go to the Black Oyster Bar where you are treated like a money spending customer. We spent over $500 with our 6 people group which Angry Marlin only seats odd numbers for some odd reason smh

Nothing here was even close to good. We ordered appetizers and they were so bad we didn't even consider ordering entrees. Shrimp cakes were terrible, artichoke dip was terrible and the bruschetta was just french bread with sour pulled pork and corn, no tomatoes no garlic no olive oil and was , you guessed it... also terrible. We may have just been unlucky and went on a bad day, but it was bad enough th we'll never go back.
