Bidra med feedbackI'd rather go to the Black Oyster Bar where you are treated like a money spending customer. We spent over $500 with our 6 people group which Angry Marlin only seats odd numbers for some odd reason smh
Nothing here was even close to good. We ordered appetizers and they were so bad we didn't even consider ordering entrees. Shrimp cakes were terrible, artichoke dip was terrible and the bruschetta was just french bread with sour pulled pork and corn, no tomatoes no garlic no olive oil and was , you guessed it... also terrible. We may have just been unlucky and went on a bad day, but it was bad enough th we'll never go back.
We walked in and told it didn't open until 6 and couldn't seat a bigger party than 5 when there was obviously a table of 6. The waitstaff was sitting and waiting, however did not want to give us answers on why they could not sit us. There were parties after being helped, but it appeared there was some racial basis. Worse experience I have ever encountered. So sad that now we still have these issues.
Blackened Redfish Took awhile to be seated for dinner, but the waiting area is cozy and utilises the breeze of the island very well. Friendly atmosphere and the food was great! Perfect quantity, didn't leave hungry or stuffed, just right to not feel miserable on the drive home. Green beans were a little vinegar-y for my taste but wonderful apart from that.
Not worth $85 spent! First time here and it was terrible. Once the hostess sat us down at a table we waited 35 minutes and no one acknowledged us. We had to get up and find someone to get water for our table. The napkins smelled sour like they got folded when they were still damp. We didn't notice the smell until after we already wiped our mouths. The blackened red fish wasn't good. Hardly any flavor and the rice was mushy. the fried flounder was terrible like they used old oil and also hardly any seasoning. We had to ask for salt and pepper. We should have walked out!
