The Crown - Cornwall,Isles of Scilly

Great food and service, lovely atmosphere, and roaring fire. Locals made us feel very welcome. Catch of the day was beautifully cooked!

Wow. It’s hard to think of all the superlatives. We had Sunday lunch and it was a feast to die for. We had the beef, pork and chicken, which comes in 2 sizes. My wife had a small chicken and regretted it, saying she wished she had gone for the larger plate because it was so good. I had the pork which was excellent, my son the beef which was similarly so both opting for the larger size fortunately! It came with assorted vegetables plus a wicked cauliflower cheese which was really good. The cheesecake was superb and my son who only ever has sticky toffee pudding, said it was the best he had ever had. The bar staff were first class, very attentive and capped off a brilliant Sunday lunch. We are so glad we found The Crown on day two of our holiday because we will be back often!

Brilliant Sunday lunch again, eef, pork or chicken with all the trimmings, can't fault it. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous.

Lovely village pub, very welcoming and helpful. A pleasure to visit. Food good too! We left before the music started but lots of locals in.
