Parkview - Corning

I work on the road ,for osmose, and this place has been like being at home..GREAT.Dietary restrictions: Good people and an very sure they would help w/any of these issues..Parking: Lots of parking and drive thru in back.Kid-friendliness: Down home cooking and great staff!!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Food is just that absolute can 't go without and won 't ever get tiring. Parkview serves a lot of the more traditional southern cooking IT IS A MUST GO TO FOR THEIR CHEESEBURGERS!!!!Parking: It 's hard to know where to really park or go whenever they are packed. There 's no method behind what they 're/nobody 's tries

I was told it was the best place in town, but I hope not. Myself and two local residents visited the restaurant to find out for ourselves. I had the chicken fried steak which honestly was mediocre and I could only eat half. One guest had a cheese burger which he ate all of it, no problem. I have no idea what the 3rd guest had but he could barely get started before giving up. The service, at least at our table, was absent. Even when ready to leave we waited probably 15 minutes for someone to come by so we could ask for the ticket. I attempted to get the attention of what appeared to be the head waitress by using a friendly wave but she seemed to be disappointed in that and yelled out to the entire restaurant what do you want? Nothing more, nothing less.

Good ole small town Cafe. I ate there all the time when working. Make a great Omelette. Good food and plenty of it. Good waitresses (they can be sassy?, Just kidding). Good folks. Reasonable.

Edit: I returned this week for dinner and ordered their double bacon cheeseburger. Wow! It was a massive burger, expertly cooked, and I estimate it weighed at least half a pound. It was huge and only cost $8. The meat was tender and incredibly juicy. The French fries were excellent as well.
