Wine Cellar - Glynmill Inn

The more casual restaurant in the glynn mill inn. restaurant was not crumbled when we were there for an early dinner. service was good. the food was made very nice in the evening, in the evening we were excellent there as the crab pasta. a bit. on the expensive side, but the quality of food was excellent.

Husband and I had a small accommodation in corner brook. I ate here. for the appetizer I had the red curry mussels, and he had the wires tongues. the tongues were good, mush very tasty, but too salty. for the first I ordered the currysalmon and salat and he had the strip loin steak and salat. both were good, but not remarkable. service, by courtney was very good, but she seemed to do the whole dining room alone. Perhaps the CERB payments cause people who want to work well here. I have heard that this corresponds to other institutions. they have limited hours because people don't want to work if they get money for nothing. must be frustrating. beautiful location that reminded me of restaurants visited in Britain.

I always enjoyed the breakfast here. the breakfast chic and veggies omelette are really good and they have multigrain brot but they have changed their hours so they have the breakfast at the end. super disappointed as local rule.

Zero ambiente. terrible eating. poor service. fair waitress tried to be hard, but not experienced. all about a complete disappointment. this place for a special occasion would have been better if we had visited mary browns. it was so bad.

We were a party of seven out for an anniversary celebration. We chose the Carriage house as we wanted more of a fine dining experience. We were seated at two separate tables because of covid restrictions which was no problem. To put it mildly we...were completely disappointed. To start ,there were no table cloths ,no music and completely no ambiance. The decor seemed to be the exact same as when we were last there years ago. As a couple of our party had eaten at this establishment in the past two years and had a good experience we decided to continue with our meal. We ordered wine appetizers and entrees Our wine and water was served promptly. Our table of three received their appetizers in about minutes. Our second table waited minutes for our appetizers. The quality of the appetizers was OK. Our first table of received received their entrees shortly after they were finished their appetizers. We (Table of an additional minutes for our entrees after we finished our appetizers. While the appetizers were OK the same could not be said of the Entrees. The food was not good. We paid plus for each entree. We have had better food at Tim Hortons for less than each. (Our server while new to the position did her best) You could say that because of Covid restrictions this is the best that you could expect but we recently had meals at the Keg and Magnum Steins in St.John,s which were both fantastic. We had a meal the previous night at the Greenwood in Corner Brook which was very good. Again,very disappointing.
