Main Street Bakery Coffee - Cornelius

Cute spot. Room to sip coffee and work from my laptop comfortably. I had an ultimate chai, light in the sweetness, with an energy ball. Both good.

Main Street Bakery and Coffee is our go-to coffee shop! We love the Main Street Huntersville location, so we were more than thrilled when Main Street in Cornelius opened. While still working (or should I say eating) our way through the bakery menu, the banana bread is a must! Be sure to pick up a bag of coffee while you’re there from Disco Coffee Roasters- it’s USDA organic which is a huge win! You can’t help but fall in love with this shop and everything they offer. Main Street Bakery and Coffee is a must when visiting Lake Norman!

I walked in just to get a fork not to buy anything. There was no-one else there and I said I was not going to buy anything but the owner was still very nice to me, I am 14 BTW, and she even gave be a free brownie and was fine with me taking the fork, 100% one of the most hospitable establishments I have ever been to. It is clear that they don't do it for the money but actually care about their customers.

Nice looking cafe and friendly employees but, their croissants and some of their bakeries are very dry, definitely not fresh to me and I tried their different croissants in different days. Also, almond croissant has a taste of orange which I didn’t like. Visually everything looks very delicious but taste is not convincing.

I used to like their stuffed croissants, especially those with cream and strawberries. Those were freshly made. However, when I came in and purchased a chocolate cream stuff croissant and a cheese Danish, they tasted totally different. I don't believe those were freshly made. For such a high price, $7, I would expect a better quality. Not sure I will come again.
