Bidra med feedbackI always enjoy dining at this restaurant, especially because of the amazing waiter named Imperial. I'm surprised he hasn't been promoted to manager yet, as he goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and special. Even my cousin Sally, who is blind, was able to enjoy a personalized cocktail thanks to his thoughtfulness. His service is truly priceless.
Eating and personal was good, was really bad. the English language al forno nothing impressive, lachs penne really good.
The dining experience was extremely disappointing and left a bad taste in my mouth. We had to wait a long time for our food to be served and for the bill to be brought to us. To be honest, if I wasn't concerned, I would have refused to pay for my meal since I barely touched it. The waitress seemed new and did her best, so I can't fault her for that. However, overall it was a terrible experience and not worth the money. I would have preferred a meal from Tesco or even McDonald's over what was served.
On Saturday night. no chicken dishes on the menu. one of our party then ordered a burger. I said the table behind us had the last burger, really? on a Saturday morning? we sat under one. ceiling heating. very hot and blown. but also on one way from the door, so from us on the other side of the table were cold. the server asked us to move us to another table. tables were empty. she came back and said I'm sorry we couldn't be moved because tables were named. we were not happy and politely told if they could not take a table change, although they were half empty, then we would not come back. By the way, when we were there were still empty tables. expected server could have apologised and something to the effect she would pass on to manager etc. she didn't storm like that. when she paid the bill, she said thank you / woman then see her again!. not her fault if she couldn't move us. but Skalche/Glares all night was unacceptable.
My wife takes us here because of the Tesco vouchers, I’m never keen as we my save a few quid with the vouchers but, I’m always reluctant as the experience is usually so slow, they always seem understaffed and this has a knock on effect...to such a poor service, that said yesterday we went and things were much better, more staff and a much improved experience, I have to mention the whole team as they were all great, but Lucia was incredibly warm, friendly and attentive, she actually motivated me to write this review. To the management, you have a great setting, best in Corby I’d say, and if you can match it with a great service and good food, the restaurant will for us no longer be a place to come as we have vouchers, but a place we come because we really enjoy our experience.. Well done team, you did great yesterday, thank you!!
