Janie's Hard Ice Cream - Coraopolis

I absolutely adore Janie's! It has the best ice cream in town. They consistently offer fantastic new flavors to sample.

The restaurant only offers milkshakes in basic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. I really enjoy their ice cream, but it seems they're facing some financial issues. I even suggested paying by the scoop, but they declined. While I love their ice cream, I wouldn’t return because of the service.

They serve Perry's ice cream, but there have been reviews in the past claiming they sold Betsy's. It's a bit confusing—maybe they used to sell Betsy's and have switched to Perry's now. I noticed a Perry's truck parked in front of the shop, but there isn't any signage indicating that they proudly serve it. Additionally, Janie's does not make homemade ice cream, which feels misleading. If you visit Perry's website, you can find all their flavors listed and search for local stores or scoop shops that carry it.

We absolutely love it here! The staff is always friendly and pleasant. Ice cream is VERY good and lots of variety. The bubble tea/lemonade is really good too!! They accept cash and cards.
