Sushi Turn House - Coquitlam

While doing my laundry in this strip mall,decided to have some food.Place is well worn but service was good.Food itself was average but serving was big and cost reasonable.Handy to laundry and over all left quite full.

Was there with friends for lunch and sat at the back table that see the sushi chef prepare food. There were metal containers with already made wasabi and pickled ginger that were opened . The chef was moving around from the prep counter to the back several time and then prepare food without hand washing or gloves. Asked for additional wasabi and the chef walked to our table, with his hand place it directly onto the plate of our food. Yikes! Food are reasonable but the spicy tuna (mushy) wasn't what I expected.

We been going to this sushi place since we moved in to coquitlam 6 years ago. The owner doesn't speak english very well but always greet us with a smile and try his best to talk to us and always makes us feel welcome. The sushi he makes are good and portion are quite large for its price. All in all great lil place , friendly and yummy fishies ....

We come here so much the owner knows our names...well, my kids' anyways. The portions here are more generous than anywhere I've been. The menu isn't extensive and if you're into fancy creations, then you'll not be back but for the basics, this is a great place, at a great price. I think they even have the deal that if you place your order a day in advance, it's 10% off!

Great little local place! Staff are friendly and are great around our noisy kids! They make an effort to make you feel welcome. Food is great, I'm no food expert, however the staff have been doing their things a long time obviously. We eat here every other week, that says a lot! Big portions are grand - if that's your thing. Dancing roll and seafood udon is amazing! Also - 2 beers for a fiver is definitely worth a visit!
