Grand Palace - Coquitlam

This restaurant is closed and Lee garden is taking over. Still under renovation and said to be open sometime in April.

I literally didn 't know what I was getting... I always saw this place in Henderson, Never bothered to check. Decided to try it out today. The food is up to standards considering it was $168 $200 after taxes and tip) for all four of us. I have mixed feeling about the service, The lady server who had been mentioned various times on yelp) is rather rude , harsh . That 's beyond the point as I just ignored it.. I like the food, Would 've given higher rating if service was perfect, For $168 or $200 for 4 of us, I think it was average to below average in my opinion. Worth looking into but on pricey side.

Went there for my my baby's baptism celebration and got the 10 course meal. We were at the private area at the back. We loved all the food, especially the lobster! Anita was able to customize some of the items in the set menu. I had very good communication with her. The staff were very helpful. It's our first time going there and everybody enjoyed the food and the service.

Why 4? For a dim sum resto service was darn good food came hot dishes were better vis a vis other dim sum restos sio mai is da bomb our server was actually very nice Make sure u call ahead otherwise ... Prices are in the high end side so don't be shocked to pay at least $50 for two My only beef? Damn cans need some serious air fresheners !

I've been to Grand Palace Restaurant on a few occasions, only for dinner service. Each time was for a banquet style 10-course meal, not for a wedding but for a birthday or full moon type dinner. And on each visit, it's always been at the private room at the back because of the nature of the dinner and size of the party. Because of the private room and style of dinner, there was always service and wasn't a need to flag anyone down if we needed water (or wine). The food is nicely presented and they all taste delicious. My favourite is definitely the Lobster in white cream sauce (usually is my favourite in all Chinese banquet dinners), but all the dishes tasted great! I will have to try here for dim sum one day!
