Hawkeye Grill - Cooperstown

Overall great experience service, food and setting were all outstanding. Sat outside for late lunch/early dinner. It was simply beautiful on the patio overlooking the lake. My fish n chips were very good, but the prime rib panini my wife had was incredible. And large. I had no problem helping her finish it. Prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a dining experience with incredible views, gracious staff and relaxed atmosphere then the Hawkeye is your perfect spot. Our server, Darko, went out of his way to create an exceptional experience for us. He was helpful with the menu and his sense of humor put many a smile on our faces. The food was fantastic. The portions at lunch were substantial. We will absolutely be back for dinner.

We had dinner on July 4th, arguably the busiest night of the year. The food and service were right on point. The ingredients are locally sourced. The menu was unique, creative and wonderfully delicious. It is wonderful to have so many vegetarian options. This is a restaurant that could be a Michelin star prospect if it were in a major city center. It punches well above its quaint town setting routes. Grandslam home run! We decided to share our positive experience with the manager and he offered to buy us drinks. So nice!!

A cozy vibe full of kind people and attentive waiters. Some folks even bought us a drink! Steak hit the spot the price, it was classic fancy food, nothing bold, served hot and fresh with the basics done right. Def worth swinging by for a date night vibe.

Cozy and yummy. My husband had lunch on a quiet and VERY cold (think -7 degrees) Saturday in January. The food was perfect for that kind of weather and the staff was very friendly. For appetizer, we had a burratta wellington that was DELICIOUS. Then we shared the brunch burger.
