Best German food I've ever had, and to top it all off even the gluten free options taste fantastic, the chef had no problems accommodating our dietary requirements.

Very tasty food at very reasonable price. If you want to try authentic Austrian German food , this might be your best bet in Australia (as a German, I tried most in all states and had been mostly disappointed, but not at Doppelgänger! The beer, of course, is delicious too and is served in proper sizes.

The food was authentic just good old fashion European comfort food. Very tasty flavours of Austria Germany. I definitely recommend the Pork Knuckle. Washed down with a very refreshing Mango Wheat Beer.

Fantastic Bavarian cuisine. Bernhard was a very welcoming host, the preztels (not pictured) were simply amazing. The pork knuckle was delicious and tender and the schnitzel was crispy and light. Washed down with some delightful imported brews, we will be back.

We enjoyed the traditional hot spelt, ass carving vegies, pork cnuckle sour wort and even an Austrian gnocchi. all have washed out with a real German beer. great service.
