Bidra med feedbackI been numerous times to try this place and it’s always closed , no signage outside indicating the opening hours , great location , ample parking , but xxx
A an old, historic building close to the caravan park is a great place for a pint or a glass of wine. Its a small bar but well run and I can recommend it.
I have just had my wedding evening party at Penrhyn Old Hall and it was brilliant. I chose this venue as I have always loved any function I have attended there over the years. The owner, Guy, could not be any more helpful, he was so accommodating. Unlike other places, they don't charge you an arm and a leg to hire the hall and the price included the DJ. The prices of the drinks are very reasonable too. The hall has lots of character and history to it, making it a very special place to party! I recommend this place 100
From the moment you enter you are faced with a delightful historical ambience. Covid conditions and clenliness obvious. Good choice of beers and other drinks which are well kept and professionaly served in a friendly manner. We went for a pre-booked lunch and ordered three courses. It was not long before we were shown to the dining room and began an extremely well cooked and presented set of meals. I must make special note of the vegeables. I know, from experience, how hard it is to cook vegetables that are between al-a-dente and overdone. The cauliflower was done to perfection. We really enjoyed eating the pork and salmon dishes and have re-booked.
If you like old buildings with an interesting history the old Hall is very good. It hasn't changed much since it was the 1590 club in the 70s. If you ;like modern interiors this is not for you but I like it. Parking is easy and it has a good bar
