Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Conway

Awful experience. We were traveling across country and decided to stop for a decent meal. We paid, got our food and the waitress came to the table to see what we needed. My husband told her we just needed our water. She said we should have got our drinks ourselves as we paid. My husband told her we didn 't realize that because at the Golden Corrals in Jacksonville the waitress brings the drinks to the table and that we tip our servers very well. She took offense and said rudely go get your own drink. I went to get our water and in-between the food islands she was very loudly complaining and pointing at us to other waitresses about us...with many customers around. I spoke up politely and said she shouldn 't be complaining loudly in front of customers. She told me to shut up and that she was watching us.. her exact comment. Shut up and I 'm watching you . We got the manager involved and requested a new waitress. Basically he apologized and that was it. The new waitress was wonderful. She got a very nice tip. The food was not that good considering it was a Sunday and almost $30.00. Not a good experience and I really hope management spoke to the waitress. As someone retired from the service industry... never would I have spoken to a client like she did and then to do it in front of everyone. Unacceptable.

It was my first visit in a few years. Why I stopped going there in the first place was people picking food up with there hands. I gave it another try, and this time was good. I will return there again. I was looking for fish but unfortunately there wasn't any at this time. That's why only 4 stars. The waitress was very good. No complaints at all. Good job.

We recently dined at Golden Corral in Conway, and a young man named Ruben grilled the best steaks we've ever had there. I'm quite particular about my steak, so a big thank you to Ruben! Before our next visit, I’ll have to call ahead to confirm that he’ll be the one cooking.

It was my first visit in a few years. I had stopped going due to the sight of some people eating with their hands. However, I decided to give it another chance, and I'm glad I did! This time the experience was enjoyable, and I’ll definitely return. I was hoping to find some fish on the menu, but unfortunately, there wasn’t any available at that time. That’s why I rated it four stars. The waitress was excellent—no complaints there. Great job!

This restaurant is very clean and a pleasant place to dine. My husband and I really enjoy Conway's Golden Corral. The food and service are great! I don’t understand all the complaints about bad food. We’ve eaten there about a dozen times over the past couple of years, and we have no complaints at all.
