Amaze Balls, Loved it. Flew in from MN to spend a few days visiting my sister who doesn't live far, she said, I think your going to like this place. Wow, great job. Food came out quick, very fresh, and flavorful. Staff was very welcoming, just good people. Definitely a must stop on my next visit. You must try. Great job guys.

I enjoyed the meal. My first time visiting and everything was good. I got the sampler with green beans hush puppies. The fish was awesome but the beans and hushpuppies was ok.

I tried The Catch for the first time today. I've been to Conroe many times and finally decided to stop by with hopes of satisfying my fried shrimp craving. The online ordering was down so I called my order in and spoke to Eleana. Eleana was very patient and accommodating as I told her my order. I picked up my order about 15 minutes later. When I entered the restaurant the food was ready, this is always a plus I was thinking about ordering beingnets but I had forgotten to include the beignet when I phoned in my order. It took a few minutes for them to prepare them to go. Eleana was very friendly in person and made sure to include enough condiments since this was my first time trying the food from The Catch. When I got home to eat, things didn't go so smoothly. I had 3 orders for 3 people including myself. Off the house favorite menu I order the Grilled Jumbo Shrimp (Served with 2 Side Items, Garlic Bread and 2 Hush Puppies), Catch Fried Fish (2) Jumbo Shrimp (4), and the medium Jumbo Shrimp Served with Catch Fries and 2 Hush Puppies. My home was 5 minutes away so I was able to get home quickly enough to eat the food hot. My girlfriend's catfish and shrimp wasn't good. The shrimp was going bad and made her stomach start to hurt. My fries was under cooked, but my shrimp was okay. The Grilled Shrimp combo was okay. I decided to return the Catfish and Shrimp combo, because it wasn't edible. The lady at the drive thru assured me it was from a batch from today. However it had a spoiled scent to it and tasted like shrimp that's going bad. The lady refunded my purchase. The beingnets was good. Mine was a little under baked however. Perhaps today was an off day, I was looking forward to enjoying an awesome meal, but The Jumbo Shrimp was the only thing that was edible out of my meal. The fries was trash, it tasted stale, it was not appetizing at all. The hush puppies were dry and tasted stale. This was the consensus among all 3 of us so it's just not my taste buds. For the price of the food I doubt I will be be back after this experience. I hope it was just an off day, however I wasn't satisfied and I was still hungry after eating because I was only able to eat the shrimp only from my entree that in life's fries and hush puppies as well.

Ordered delivery to my office on Sunday evening and not only was the food so greasy I had to blot it with a paper towel, but there was a tiny hole in the lid of my gumbo cup so I got a palm full of gumbo that had made its way all over the top of the soup cup. Now I wonder where the hole came from?? Should I eat the gumbo? Also, did not get one single lemon wedge with my fried stuff, as you do when dining in at the restaurant. The fries were definitely not newly fried and I am skeptical about the other fried shrimp and oysters. Just disappointed. I've always liked their food.
