Guadalajara Hacienda - Conroe

Good food with great service and spacious tables. You don't feel like you're being shoved into a sardine can as with other local restaurants of the same type.

Order the Enchilada Marisco, you will be glad you did. Fish enchilada with shrimp topped with lump crab meat in avocado cream sauce.

Great white Queso with chips that kept on coming! Super and pleasant service! I got the new menu item with the corn tamale topped with crabmeat pico and two grilled shrimp. It would have been 5 star if I could find enough crab to taste, a bit more avocado… or even better, guacamole. The tomatillo sauce is not my favorite…a creamy cilantro or corn sauce would have enhanced the flavor. A couple of more grilled shrimp would have added more protein. I would gladly pay more for that because the corn Tamar cakes were the best things I have eaten in a long time! Last point, the restrooms needed major attention! One door would not open. Short on toilet paper and empty seat liners!

We showed up as a big group and they were very accommodating. We had great food and excellent service!!

I had grilled shrimp tacos, charro beans and cilantro rice. Our waiter was great and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the beautiful plants out front.
