Casa Ole - Conroe

This is a nice spot to visit if you're in the neighborhood. My husband and I enjoy stopping by here after shopping at the nearby Sam's or Lowe's. I wasn't expecting much from the $2.50 house margarita, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The other drinks are tasty as well, and everything we've tried from the menu has been delicious!

The restaurant felt a bit warm and had a noticeable smoky aroma from the fajitas. Our server was friendly and attentive, and both the drinks and food were enjoyable. However, it was somewhat off-putting to overhear the busser complaining multiple times that bussing tables "isn't her job."

I returned to pick up the food about half an hour later than I’d originally planned, but when I arrived, everything was fresh, hot, and nicely packaged. The hostess had mentioned there would be 12 enchiladas in four different flavors, and I ended up with four of each flavor. To my surprise, she also included a chicken nugget kids meal! The food tasted fantastic and was a huge hit with the family.

Our waiter was fantastic, though I didn't catch his name. He was very attentive without being intrusive, and he was quick and efficient. Our food arrived promptly and was excellent. I've yet to have a negative experience at this place. They serve great Tex-Mex at reasonable prices.

We had a pleasant experience overall. The service was excellent, but the green sauce was a bit disappointing this time—it was too watery and not as flavorful as usual. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, though. I ordered nachos with chicken, but I found the chicken to be in very small, less flavorful pieces. Next time, I think I'll go for the ground beef instead.
