El Paso Mexican - Conover

One of the Best Mexican places near Conover. Great alcohol and prices on their food. Cheaper than dos amigos and other restaurants! My grand parents go 1-2 a week for a margarita.

We did come with a large crowd and I fully understand that it comes with certainty comprises in service. However when everyone at the table is finishing their dinner and I still have not received my food is a bit more than one would expect. When I asked the manager for some compensation since my group was ready to leave and I still did not have my food. All I got was let me see where your food is. I do not recommend this restaurant as they are neither concerned that their customers are taken care of or doing anything to make things right.

I have to agree with others on here once after wait staff takes your order you hardly see them again. Waited 15 minutes for the check but food is good.

Delicious as always, cant go wrong. Super fast and price friendly. Menu is large, and has customizable options.

What do you do when you are driving from Raleigh to Asheville on a Sunday afternoon with a dog and suddenly get really hungry? Use the filters on Yelp and search for outdoor seating open now and find this gem. It's very close to the I 40, has a nice patio and plenty of parking. The service was friendly and quite attentive. The dishes are huge and very tasty. We got the shrimp and steak combo and the ranchera steak. I was expecting some middle of nowhere Mexican that would be just ok at best, and was pretty blown away. I will make a point to stop there every time I'm driving by.
