Gt's And Grill - Connah's Quay

I highly recommend this restaurant for a Sunday dinner. We experienced first-class dining, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. A big shoutout to Jo Mawdsley and her team for their excellent service!

I decided to stop by for a weeknight meal and started with the nacho appetizer, which was enormous! I was worried I wouldn't be able to handle the main course of steak and mushrooms, plus home-cooked chips, but I pushed through—and I’m glad I did! It was fantastic, completely exceeded my expectations for a great price, and incredibly flavorful. A few weeks later, I returned for their Sunday roast, which I now consider the best within a 10-mile radius (and I wouldn't go any further for it!). You won't be disappointed if you give it a try!

We had a lovely Sunday dinner, complemented by the beautiful and friendly staff. They managed the busy atmosphere of a Sunday afternoon quite well. We recommend adding a chalkboard for desserts, as there isn't a dessert menu available, and perhaps upgrading the barista coffee machine for the manager. Overall, we would like to express our gratitude for a wonderful Sunday dinner!

Omg, this shady is something else! the best of all time. how to eat really good quality and extras like purple cauliflower makes it even better. bonus to a large cook and not to forget personal who are easy to go and happy, they create positive feeling at this beautiful place. beautiful clean environment. deffo comes back and makes it our family every Sunday! many thanks!

So many have tried and failed to make this place work, until now. Food is amazing (carvery is the best in Flintshire) and the rest of the menu is great too. Staff are friendly and helpful and the service is 2nd to none. No long waits in between courses and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for Sunday to the bar staff, chefs and waitresses. 5 stars and deserving of every one.
