The Shrimp Spring Roll offers a refreshing, herbal taste that complements the peanut sauce perfectly. As for the Vegetarian Banh Mi, it is simply exquisite.
The flavor was good, but I ordered my beef rare, and when I picked it up, it was well done because they placed it in the broth. I would suggest that they serve the raw beef in the noodle bowl instead, so customers can enjoy it as truly rare.
Vegetarian options: Fresh vegetables and delicious tofu!
The vegetarian banh mi sandwich was absolutely delicious—super crunchy and flavorful. If you're vegan, be sure to check the spread they use on the bread; it had a taste reminiscent of a mayo and sweet mustard blend. The tofu egg rolls were also excellent, and the dipping sauce struck the perfect balance of heat and sweetness.
I've been a regular at this restaurant for years, enjoying both dine-in and take-out. They undoubtedly have some of the best pho broth in the city. However, I've noticed a few recent changes that need to be addressed. In take-out orders, there have been no jalapeños, basil, or bean sprouts included lately. Additionally, the portions of protein in the Bahn Mi have decreased significantly. I hope this constructive feedback is helpful! The food and service are still great!
