Afton Pub Pizza - Concord

I have no clue how this place has any good reviews. Lipstick print on the glass I was given. Center of pizza was cold and undercooked. Alfredo and tomatoes (chopped incorrectly) had little to no taste. Chicken was definitely canned. Not to mention, our gluten free pizzas were cooked incorrectly so it took longer to come out, and there was chicken on my vegetarian pizza. Server was fine. Small portions for $45+ tab. Would never recommend. Ever.

I recommend the Buffalo Chicken pizza! It's amazing!! Great service every visit!

I've been a few times and it was good, but they went up a lot on the prices. The last time I went the mozzarella cakes were Amazing but my chicken Alfredo was not seasoned, which wouldn't of been a huge deal if it wasn't $20 for the plate, and I asked for a extra Alfredo sauce which was the size of a dipping sauce and they charged me $2 for it The prices are very high for a pub style restaurant. Decent food but not worth the price, We spent $92 on 2 adults an Alfredo plate and a wings plate)and 2 kids meals. They added in Gratuity because there were 6 adults 2 kids 8 people, which they didn't tell us untill they brought out the bill which again wouldn't of mattered if everything else wasn't so high. We were just shocked at the prices as we just ate at Texas Roadhouse a few days prior and paid $55 and gave a $15 tip for the 4 of us. I understand everything's went up but I feel your prices have to be based on the type of restaurant and how nice it is and the quality of the food.

We were looking for a pizza while we waited out the rain ridden Coke 600 and we don’t recommend this one. Pizza boxes stacked everywhere at the entrance and a horrible smell of bleach on the way to the back dining room area. Floors need cleaned too. If you can get past that, the Mozzarella sticks look like they have seasoning but we’re tasteless. Pizza came so fast but here’s why. Pizzas undercooked and doughy in the center. Pale white on the bottom. So eventually the manager came and offered to remake the pizzas. Brought them back burnt. So hard you couldn’t eat the crust. Toppings were good quality ingredients though. And order salad dressing on the side as they put way too much!

We did takeout of an 18” margarita pizza and 8 piece BBQ wings. Start this off, the total was just shy of $39. The wings were good, decent size, some bigger than others. The dressing included was watery and lacked any flavor. The pizza was awful. Undercooked, fell apart most of the time. Tomatoes just thrown on so you pick a slice up and they just fall to the plate. Cheese greasy and again just thrown on with no care. This place for some reason charges as like they are a nice restaurant but really they are just an amateur bar trying to look high class.
