Bidra med feedbackCozy, comfortable and delicious!Susie's Westside Cafe is a diminutive diner near the popular Bear Creek Dog Park. There is a spacious patio area for outdoor dining. This place does it right the open concept allows diners to watch food being prepared in a spotlessly clean kitchen. The food is delicious and reasonably priced and served by some of the best waitstaff in Colorado Springs.Susie's scores among my favorite diners in Colorado Springs.PRO TIP: Try Susie's homemade pies. The chocolate pie is incredible and best shared it's so filling you'll struggle to finish one piece by yourself.Dietary restrictions: The open concept kitchen cooks everything to order. You should have no issues asking the cook to remove or exclude ingredients.Parking: Susie's has a modest parking lot shared with neighboring businesses. If the lot is full there is plenty of street parking on adjacent streets.Kid friendliness: Let's be honest children don't really belong in public until they are old enough to drive and even then only in limited spaces. But, if you're a parent who insists on showing off your offspring, they'll be fine here.Pro tip: If you must bring your children in public, leave your enormous stroller at home. Everyone hates strollers, especially waitstaff who have to rearrange tables to accommodate them. Generations of humans raised children by carrying them or gasp making their children walk.Susie's is lovely for well behaved, stroller free children.Wheelchair accessibility: The main dining room is on the same level as the entrance. Tables have moveable chairs. Wheelchair users should be able to access the restaurant with ease. The patio is also wheelchair accessible.
Waitresses. The cook with the rainbow hair and the dishwasher were all smiling, happy and it showed they were a great team
I love their scratch made chicken fried steak and eggs!Soul food.
Gone a few times now and the food is very delicious, staff is friendly, and atmosphere is enjoyable.
We found a spot to sit right away, even if the space is extremely limited. Everyone was very nice. The breakfast burrito was very good and large in size, I really loved the home fries. The skillet was also good but a bit small and my husband was expecting it to come out in an actual skillet. The french toast was also good, very small though for the price.Overall it was a good experience, but nothing special that would make me want to come back.
