Great burritos, specially the shark burrito is the best I highly recommend it, small place but great service.

This place is Awesome!! We have been coming in for years and I don't believe I haven't given my opinion in all that time!! Guanajuato needs 10 Stars!! I have had nearly everything on the menu and it's always fresh made and delicious!! The servings are just right and I never have leftovers and always leave full!! My favorites are the crispy tacos and the Chili Relleno (excellent)!! Guanajuato is a jewel hiding in wide open spaces!! The building is an old gas station painted totally white!!

My favorite Mexican Food restaurant in the greater area of Comanche, Brownwood and beyond. Really excellent food. The Chile Relleno plate it to die for! They also have good breakfast tacos (burritos) and very reasonable priced lunch specials. The lunch plates can be fairly small, but I like that as I tend to eat too much in Mexican food restaurants with the free chips and Salsa. As others have commented this is closer to authentic Mexican food, but I would still say it leans towards Tex-Mex and not full blown interior Mexican food. Very good service and staff. The owner will probably wait on you and his mom is likely cooking in the back.

This is Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. We eat there every chance we get.
