Tommy's Diner - Columbus

We were looking for a good breakfast place on a Sunday morning before we went home. we checked her menu online before deciding on Tommy’s. we arrived and were several cars in the go, but a few open places. while the restaurant had many patrons, we sat immediately. our waitress was very attentive. my man and I had two of the specials. he had cajun fried chicken with waffeln and bourbon maple syrup. I had the strawberry button with French toast. he ordered housewives/ hash-browns on the side and I ordered sausages on the side. our meals were delicious the hash brews and sausage Pattie’s, which we ordered on the side, were simply ok. overall our meals were good, service was excellent, and we felt as if the price was reasonable. we would return.

Many of the previous reviews about the personal friendly and friendly and I could add if crazy busy on Sunday plus the great portions are absolutely spot on. the food is good, but without the smokey, very savory ham our kartoffels and eggs would have been almost tasteless, and the housewives were hathbrowns instead. the waffel was a thing of beauty and tasted homemade w. from a mix. the sirup, although of course not maple, was of good quality. the coffee flew free, but was weak, and we had to ask for another half. but beloved, we could pour into sugar instead of tearing up countless sugar packages. look forward to some non-breaking items or either the Greek or gyro omelet.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience.I live in Dublin, picked up my friend in Polaris then drove all the way down to Tommy's for brunch on EASTER Sunday. The tropical mimosa was the best we've had. The Food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. The memorabilia walled theme decor was exciting but most of all, our server CEECEE was AMAZING. Such great personality and very thorough. The gentleman at the register (i believe owner or manager) and his heritage definitely bleeds into his work ethic of his employees. You know a pleasant environment when everyone's face looks pleasant.Thank you for the wonderful time.Will definitely be back.Good luck to you and God bless this establishment and it's staff.

Great atmosphere and delicious food at Tommy's Diner. We both had a wonderful breakfast and enjoyed all the 50's decorations and music. Even though it was very busy, the service was excellent. We hope to return on future trips to Columbus.
