Bidra med feedbackExcellent pizza and other dishes. I would give it more of a 4.2 but I don't want to lower the score. Every once in awhile, the pizza is not quite crispy enough so I put it in our oven at home on a pizza stone. Other than that, the dough is great, the ingredients are fantastic. Closest thing to a NY slice you can get in Ohio.
EPIC. Borgata absolutely saved the day in the most delicious fashion possible after a family gathering this past weekend. Allow me to elaborate. After celebrating my niece's birthday at an aerial arts studio, the family had planned to find take out for a communal meal. Before we could depart from the studio, a massive thunderstorm began. We're talking a torrential downpour so strong that the wind blew the doors of the studio open and it looked like sheets of water were falling on our vehicles. Left in this situation and with bellies rumbling, we began searching for nearby food options. My sister and brother in law had previously touted the quality of Borgata and given its 2 mile proximity from our location we went for it! Shout out to Eric M. for picking up our order and Charles V. for providing beverages from his home to accompany our meal. The order: spicy sausage stuffed peppers: tasty. A sea of marinara sauce containing cubanelle peppers stuffed with house made sausage. homemade meatball appetizer: yum. borgata chicken wings (buffalo and spicy garlic): extremely flavorful we were dipping our bread in the residual sauce. Interestingly, the spicy garlic appeared to be the buffalo...mixed with spicy garlic spaghetti: classic for the kids to enjoy cavatelli: great texture and rich cream flavor but I preferred the other dishes with more acidic notes. margherita pizza: a star. Can only imagine how good it must've been fresh out of the oven but it was still incredible and a big hit. We couldn't have dreamed of a better meal. And no, it wasn't just the hunger making me say this, I'd return without hesitation.
Love the sauce and the cheese on the pizza. We also got the caprese salad, which was fresh and plentiful with a huge yellow heirloom tomato. I was also very impressed with the service. The owner stopped by to check on us, and the server was efficient and friendly. The rest of the staff was helpful, hard working, and cracked some jokes. We will return, and I look forward to trying some of the house made pastas and meatballs next time! Note: as a native New Yorker, I am hard pressed to approve a restaurant in the Midwest calling itself New York style pizza, so if you're looking for an extremely authentic New York style pizza, this isn't it, BUT it was a great hand tossed pizza with excellent sauce.
This pizza place was super friendly and patient as I decided on my order for take out. I love the unique design. The big kitchen and small dinning area are all open. Leaving no secrets. I ordered a three cheese white pizza on gluten free. That comes with mozzarella, feta and ricotta cheese. I omitted the oregano sprinkle. The pizza was very tasty! Heads up, if you like a crisp crust tell them to leave it in longer. The crust was in between thin and thick. It comes in 12 . Precautions were taken for cross contamination. Washed counters and tools etc.. This pizza made a excellent leftover breakfast pizza casserole the next day and with all its cheese goodness!
My husband and I stopped by to dine in when visiting from Michigan. We chose it based on other Yelp reviews and they did not disappoint! Not only was every single staff member very very friendly and helpful, but the food was amazing too! My husband absolutely loved the wings and my pizza was fantastic. They sell pizza by the slice too if you choose! Which is awesome if you don't want to commit to an entire pizza. The slices are really big too when you buy by the slice. Really friendly environment, fantastic food, and I highly recommend it
