La Isla Bonita - Columbia

OMG….this took me back to Puerto Rico! Food was DELICIOUS! Real authentic flavored food. The alcapurria was AMAZING…..not only the flavor, but it was fried in clean, fresh oil. The flan was PERFECT……not overwhelmingly sweet. We were a group of six and everyone LOVED their food. Service was phenomenal. They treated us like they’d known us forever. I will DEFINITELY be here again when back in town.

Small and clean and the food was amazing! Reminded me of the spots in NY l loved when I was young. Pulled pork with the yellow rice and chicken patties. A definite win. And the pretty young lady in the foot cast did not get her name) helped me decide what to order and she was funny and sweet. I'll b back no question!!

I had the Cuban sandwich with fries and my husband had the stewed chicken w/ yellow rice sweet plantains. And tried a ground beef empanada. It was all delicious. We did wait for a while, but the lady serving us let us know it was just her working. After waiting 30 minutes it was just too warm inside to eat, so we asked for the food to go. The lady was very apologetic about everything and was doing her absolute best to cater to everyone on a very busy Saturday afternoon/evening. Over all, I had a good experience and the food alone is worth the rating. It's a must try for anyone. (And the meats were the most tender I've ever had!

Worst jibarito ever! Never again.The steak was thick and unseasoned. The plantain had no taste. There was no sauce on the sandwich.It was so dry that I had to put A1 on it. I was so excited that I bought 2 with fries. I got $37 worth of trash!!The lady was nice. The food was nasty.
