Bidra med feedbackNow for the main dishes: - **Galbi (4.5/5)**: While it was a bit pricey for the portion size, it was delicious overall. Cooked perfectly with a lot of flavor, and it paired nicely with the onions. - **Spicy Pork Dolsot Bibimbap (3.5/5)**: The bowl was good, but it was a little oily. The waitress informed us that this dish comes with more vegetables and less meat, but the proportions were still satisfying. Overall, we had a great experience and can’t wait to return!
The food was excellent and the servers were very friendly, but sadly, they are now closed. Although there were aspects of the ambiance that could have been improved, I understand that being short-staffed may have impacted their experience. I'm not sure of the exact reasons for their closing, but they will certainly be missed.
Kojaba is an excellent spot for Asian takeout! Conveniently situated near Broadway and Providence, it has that charming hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. We tried to visit yesterday, but unfortunately, they had run out of fried rice (my favorite dish), which was a disappointment! However, we returned this evening to give it a shot, and I’m so glad we did! I ordered the beef fried rice, while Tyler opted for the hot spicy shrimp combo. Their fried rice truly is the best in town, which explains why they sold out yesterday, and the shrimp was quite delicious as well! Each meal also came with a side of potato, sausage, kimchi, and bean sprouts. It was clear that they were a bit understaffed, so I won’t comment much on the service, but the staff members who assisted us were very friendly. The phone was ringing off the hook, which suggests that next time I’ll just go for takeout. That said, if you're in the mood for a sit-down meal, they definitely deliver!
I 'm still not sure about this place. The food was... okay. The service was... okay. I guess everything was just 'okay '. This was a very bland dining experience. The food was not really authentic. The spices were wrong or missing... Or something. They ran out of rice. How does that happen? So three stars? Maybe I 'm being generous but there wasn 't really anything offensive or inedible so... I guess it stays at three stars.
Late review.. Due to graduation weekend crowd earlier in the day, we were told only 3 service of rice left. How can a Korean restaurant run out of of rice? Lol! Staff was friendly and our party of 5 was the only one left in there restaurant. We ordered duck and Galbi Beef. Both were fresh enough but lack flavor. The Banchan was half Korean and half not. Sliced Hot Dog? Hmmm Overall nice but not quite authentic.
