Groucho's Deli - Columbia

If you say you went to Carolina and don't love this place, I question whether you actually went to school here. Eating at Grouchos is synonymous with the college experience in Columbia. Obviously, the go-to menu item is the STP.

Switching to Salad for the Summer. Normally, I don 't switch it up. I always get the STP dipper. However, when it is 100 degrees here in the summer, I usually crave something a bit lighter. Today I tried the Turkey and Cheese Salad with 45 sauce being my choice of dressing (of course). I got a very large portion for $5.99, it was fresh and absolutely delicious! Don 't let the 'busy-ness ' of place keep you from visiting on your lunch break. My server (Lindy) had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. Love this deli!

Lunch. Salad bowl was delicious service was great! Seating area in the back of the restaurant is run down.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was excellent.

Food was solid but service was disappointing as we were forced to get taken out since they were closing dining room early.
