Philly's Cheese Steak

Came here for Saturday lunch, they did not have the Philly Popper on this website menu, but they did it for me! We ordered Fried Mushrooms, who came out super hot and fresh, they were so good. My Philly Popper was perfect, I got the regular size and couldn't finish it yet, Jalapeños were the perfect spice for a sandwich. My husband ordered the green Chile Phillie, he enjoyed his, he ordered the Great and saved half of it for later. He also got the cheese eaters, I wasn't too sure because they were using Cheese Whiz, but they were really delicious! Our server was sweet and she was fast! Nice to have a good place to eat on the south side of the city.

We decided to try the new ones at the South Academy, we were not disappointed! Great food, always. Great service and it was so beautiful and clean. Even the toilets that are very important. Thanks again for a great experience. We're coming back!

Great. Never on time. It's not a disgust for me. I'll still go there twice a week because the food is great. However, the pickup times of the online order are incorrect. Work around: order online, wait five minutes, CALL THEM, confirm the correct pickup time. This saves you half an hour in the dining room. Otherwise, the customer service is 5 stars and the food is perfect every time.

I'm from PA originally and I've had Pat's and Gino's cheese steaks in Philly. They're impossible to beat. But when I miss home and get the urge for a cheese steak, Taste of Philly makes a very good one. The staff is friendly, but you'll likely wait a bit for your order (neither is the case in Philly lol. Worth the wait and the best cheese steak you'll get around here, so I definitely recommend giving it a try.
