La Carreta - Colonial Heights

Absolutely perfect! Even though the restaurant was packed, there was no wait for a table, and our drinks were served promptly after we ordered. We also ordered a Jalapeño appetizer at the same time, and both our drinks and the appetizer arrived within minutes. The staff monitored our progress closely and promptly brought out our entrées as soon as we finished our appetizer. I had the seafood chimichanga, and it was OUTSTANDING! The portion was just right for someone like me who stays active throughout the week!

Great place for a quick lunch or dinner with family on weekends. The staff was friendly and friendly, the manager came by and personally checked for us, and he also did it with other tables. The drinks were filled regularly; the food was hot, fresh and delicious, portions were generous! Bring most of us home. So enjoyed their green sauce Jalapeños, Cilantro and ingenious sauce! The red sauce was not super sharp, and they have a white ranch-like sauce for the palate who prefer a sweeter taste. Make sure to visit this wonderful place in two excursions during this quick visit to Virginia. A treat for your tastes and your soul. Your wallet won't get hurt either.

My waitress was so sweet, she got me queso for my chips. The portions are huge. My shrimp fajita were so delicious. If you leave this restaurant hungry, you weren't trying.

My waiter was friendly. I ordered the Nachos Chipotle, which wasn’t as spicy as I expected, but the jalapeños added the kick I was after. Additionally, the portion size was generous, and the food was served hot. The only suggestions I have are to provide more chips (since I still had chicken and salad left) and to include more napkins when the food is served.

This is a great spot for Mexican cuisine. The service is incredibly swift. The margaritas were delightful, and I enjoyed a bowl (Chicken Chipotle something) that was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the Fajitas, which came in a generous portion.
