The Sooriya Village - Colombo

We held a private event at this restaurant. The manager and staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. It's also a great place to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and relax in the heart of Colombo.

It's a superb location with Mama Louies pizza and a kids book store. It is also home to a stage performance center. The location has an ancient colonial vibe to it. It's calm and quite with a nice interaction with nature. I do recommend this place for a chilled evening or a delicious pizza.

This restaurant offers a unique and enjoyable experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is served promptly and tastes delicious. The indoor seating area can be a bit noisy due to an echoing effect, making it hard to have a conversation. However, the outside seating area is much more pleasant and peaceful. I would definitely come back, but would prefer to sit outdoors. Parking can be a challenge as you have to park on the side street and walk to the restaurant, which may feel unsafe.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant! It has a natural and musical setting, with birds in the garden and a peaceful ambiance away from city noises. The food is delicious, although a bit expensive, but worth it for the great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and there is soft music playing throughout the restaurant. It's a relaxing place for working or reading, with a library featuring antique music and writing equipment, and a souvenir shop selling Sri Lankan music-themed items like shirts and mugs. They also have a studio available for hire. I love this place!

A chilled out place to hang out. “Shorts Friendly” even for dinner I guess. Food is good overall however there are a few dishes that stand out. One being the Belly Pork with white rice. It checks all the boxes for a good meal. Taste, Presentation, Quantity and price. Drinks were good, nothing special but good. Dessert was your usual stuff biscuit pudding, sago, ice cream etc. The biggest con for me was that the food and drinks were a bit delayed. Waited about 10 mins extra than a comparable place. The ambiance is also pleasant and the staff was very friendly. Overall a good experience.
