Bidra med feedbackDon’t let yourself be fooled. If you love good food (esp. oysters and fish), give a about fancy, and search for this special belgo-french experience, there is by far no better place in Cologne. We have taken people here, who have seen ‘everything’ and...they left praising the place. I am actually searching a better place, because I am not sure how many more years we will see it in the hands of the man, but so far, all the top rated Colonian places could not cope with the combination of atmosphere, food, pride, individualism, .. oysters! Enchante, l’imprimerie! Btw: It is really in this dead end street, in this unfancy building, and all your expectations will be exceeded, only you must be ready which means open to unusual things.
Although the dishes are traditional French dishes, the French taste was not there. What was typically French was the service a bit unpleasent and complacent. The overall bill for people entry plus main and a bottle of wine came to which was really...over price versus what we ate.
A very French restaurant in Cologne! Very nice food on the hardly readable menu. Excellent wines. And not as crowded as usually sitting outside on a nice summer evening. Any time a suggestion, but even be precise and quick when ordering. No cards, no reservation....... one need to know!
This place us not worthwhile to visit. We had dinner, the food is ok, expensive though. The owner is moody and rude. He gives the impression that guests are a burden.
L'Imprimerie is my favorite restaurant in Cologne. They serve the best fish in town. I also like the atmosphere. This restaurant is not out for being everybody's darling it is what it is: great! They do not accept credit cards only cash is...king. Bookings are not accepted. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
