Zapatas Mexican - Collinsville

We dined here with a large group of 15 including 3 toddlers. They brought us to a large table with plenty of seating in a separate room near with it's own bathrooms. The waitress took our drink orders right away and had chips and salsa sent for each section of the table. They had a large selection of food to choose from including a drink menu and a kid's menu. After we ordered our food it didn't take long to arrive. I ordered the barbacoa street tacos and guacamole. You can get guacamole served as a dip prior to your meal or choose to get it as a side with your dish. My husband ordered the extra large burrito verde. Our food arrived temperature hot and came with sauces on the side. My daughter had the burrito with rice and beans. The portion sides were generous for kids. Usually they are much smaller. We were able to bring leftovers home. Our waitress was very friendly, informative, and attentive. We had additional drinks brought out to us before our drinks were empty. She also brought out additional chips for our guacamole dip. The restaurant is very kid friendly and the food was delicious!

First time here and i would like to point out how amazing my server Dylan was. He made sure everything was on point and was very attentive even though they were busy. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and the food. Thank you

The service was great, Antonio was amazing very attentive and on point! We were there in early afternoon, we ate in the bar area. The food was hot fresh. I had the carne asada, it had great flavor and cooked to my preference. As far as real good Mexican eats...it was close to what I would want in Mexican food. The waitress again was super! I loved the Mexican dip. Great taste and a great starter. Also had the mango Chile lime margarita. It was extremely delicious. Live the location would come back.

Absolutely a wonderful place! Server was pretty good, she struggled a bit because there were a rowdy group of drunk women in our section so I'm not holding that against the server. Food portions were huge so it was definitely worth the money! It tasted so good, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Plus it was pretty much next door to our hotel so that made it even better. We will be coming back next time we are in the St. Louis area!

Went there for a birthday party of eight. We had a server named Dillon. Very courteous and prompt waiter who didn't forget about us. Remembered all our special requests and checked on us regularly. Service was extremely quick and he was very attentive. Best experience at a restaurant for a while. The food was good but the server was excellent
