Bidra med feedbackI had a terrible experience! I paid $20.00 for this! For that price, I expected more food, but what I received was just a small portion. I ordered spinach and fish stew, but it felt like a complete deception. There wasn’t even half a fish on my plate. When I approached the woman who prepared my meal to ask about the missing fish, she simply told me that this was all I was getting and then walked away, ignoring my concerns. She made no effort to address the situation—no apology, no explanation, nothing to improve my disappointing experience. I left feeling frustrated and will definitely not return to this restaurant again!
It's really disappointing because I wanted to support this store, but the owner, Broni, was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Because of that, I chose not to spend my money there. I also found myself worrying about how the food was being handled due to her lack of care. If I could give Broni a zero star rating for her attitude, I definitely would.
My family and I visited Atlanta for a short trip, and I ordered waakye and banku for my husband. The waakye was just okay; it tasted like the rice was burnt, which almost ruined my meal. The okro stew was overly oily and not flavorful, prompting my husband to take just two bites before leaving the rest uneaten. The customer service was absolutely terrible; I waited an extra 30 minutes for my food after being told it would be ready in 20 minutes, especially frustrating after a 40-minute drive to get there. We weren't even acknowledged when we walked in. I think I might give this place another chance on my next visit because it has potential, but it seriously needs to improve its customer service.
I contemplated making this review, but I think it needs to be said. I ordered an okra stew with beef paid $20 and asked for assorted meat instead. When I went to pick up my order the women with the nose ring said it would be $15 dollars extra! Iveordered this dish several times from several restaurants and its never been that much.I basically paid for a whole other meal.I was clearly being taken advantage of. Especially since she assumed after my asking questions about the food that i wasn't toofamiliar with the cuisine. Please be aware. I will not be back.
I ordered tilapia that took forever to cook and came out under cooked. Owner is very rude not a nice person to meet. Better service at the Nigerian restaurant right next-door where the lady owner is way nicer and cook?s better.
