After asking the employee again if I could please use an outlet, he finally agreed, but only after I had repeatedly searched for assistance. To my relief, after we managed to charge the battery for about 15 minutes, my car finally started, allowing me to leave around 2:45 or 3 AM. I couldn't help but feel that the employee could have been more helpful earlier, especially since he could clearly see my situation and had overheard me discussing with AAA that help could take a while. I appreciate that he eventually came through and allowed me to use the outlet, as I was feeling quite unsafe and alone that night. There weren't any other people around to assist me, and even nearby sheriff's cars drove past without stopping. The whole experience left me shaken and anxious, particularly as a woman alone in a vulnerable situation. In my hometown of Boston, I would never have felt this stranded for so long. While I understand that businesses have rules and regulations, I was simply asking to plug in my charger, not for anyone to come outside or put themselves in danger. I had hoped for some basic compassion from the staff, but it felt like everyone was just ignoring my need for help.
The staff at this McDonald's are very friendly and attentive. However, I've noticed that something has been missing from my order every time I've visited. I ordered Happy Meals for my three children, and usually, you don't check the boxes to ensure everything is included. Unfortunately, none of the meals came with fries, and one of them had extra apple slices instead.
To be honest, I've never actually been inside this restaurant, so my thoughts are based solely on the drive-thru experience. This is your typical drive-thru setup, and I've stopped referring to these places as fast food. They do have a double drive-thru. Interactions with the staff can be hit or miss; I often struggle to hear or understand them, likely due to COVID masks. If you pay close attention to the screen, you can usually end up with the right order. As for the food, it's standard fare, but the sandwich assembly can be sloppy and the temperatures can vary. Overall, you can grab a quick meal or snack, but don't expect outstanding customer service during the process.
This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The employees are rude and lack basic communication skills. As someone who is busy with work and only has time for one meal a day, I ended up throwing my food away because it was completely inedible. The fries were cold and hard, and the McDoubles tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. To top it off, the frappes were not available. I'm really disappointed and I won't return to this location again. The only one who seemed to enjoy it was my dog!
