Loved the crab cakes , Teens got burgers it was just ok .. will return soon

My only complaint was that we had 7:15 reservations and did not get seated until 7:45. It is one thing to walk in without a reservation and have to wait that long, but what is the point of making a reservation if the wait is still long. Our food and server were excellent

Crab cakes! Very enjoyable meal with some old friends. Waitstaff was attentive. Food and drinks were prompt, nicely prepared, and excellent. Exactly what we expected for a nice meal out.

Last visit for me. Front of the House continues to play on their telephones versus engaging with their Customers. Wait staff last night was marginal. No attention provided unless the Waiter was already coming to the table to deliver food. Glasses were left empty. Food was marginal. Steaks lacked favor. Potatoes were dry. Dining Room appears in steady decline.

Our visit didn't start well. We had a reservation and were promptly seated at 5pm. When no server appeared after 17 minutes, I flagged down a manager. Then our server finally appeared. After that, everything went well. As usual, all the food was excellent. The Maryland Crab Soup was just right, wells-spiced but not overly salty. I asked for my Panko Fried Oysters to be crispy and they were exquisite: not over-breaded, crispy without being burnt. Delicious! The Sweet Potato Fries are always a special treat, almost unique to Pappas in this part of town. Our server seemed to be a bit over-busy but she was efficient and available at the right times. Except for the slow start, another enjoyable dinner at Pappas.
