Bidra med feedbackRecommended for us from a native it is from the beaten away, but it is worth it and a simple bike ride shape city electric bike is best! . the terrace location is a charming location surrounded by woods they only hear the birds. service was excellent by. the start and our waitress spoke pretty good English and could help translate the wide and varied menu. a beautiful amuse bouche with followed by bark meat carpaccio and garlic as entrees. mains were the house trout for the woman and the goulash for me. excellent quality meat perfectly cooked. to finish a light and pleasantly brewed rhabarb with skyberry sorbet. we had excellent weeping recommendations from the staff and had an excellent lunch. recommended and pleasant change from the German standard tariff.
I ate here with my partner and my parents in the law. The restaurant is located outside Cochem on a side street on the hill. It has two sections, a light, the summer restaurant and a more rustic one that...including a standing clock that meets the hours. There is a 3 course set menu for around 20 euros (which we did not take and the ala carte menu offers a variety of fish and meat dishes. There were no vegan main courses. I ordered the marinated scallops (16.50 as starter and the painted Argentine steak (28, as main. The scallops were excellent, but the pasta on which they were was extremely salty. Maybe a mistake from the kitchen I thought. Then came the main course, again the beef was good quality, but the paint was extremely salty again and the secondary dishes (beans, potatoes too. As a reference, if you chew a kidney bean after a short while the taste becomes sweet. In this case, I could only taste the salt. Then the wine. We ordered a dry 2010 Wehlener sunglass (38, which is one of the best wine areas in the Mosel. While it was technically correct, the taste did not come close to everything I ever tasted from this area, especially because of its high acidity. Drinkable, but not nice. When I was confronted with our experience (my mother-in-law asked if the cook was in love: the waiter offered us a discount or a schnapps. What was a nice gesture, but did not create salt and sour taste. Recommendation: eat elsewhere.
We had two great dinners in the restaurant and enjoyed all of them! The soups were to die, and the salads were interesting and complex. Mary had fresh trout (fresh as on that day caught in the stream running behind the restaurant, and I... slept lamb. The food was cooked by Krostoph our waiter and served very well. The locals come from town to dinner, it's so good! We found the prices reasonable, given the quality of food and the environment (85€' with wine. I wish this restaurant was 't 4,600 miles away it would be a regular!!
Heerlijke pure keuken. Goede prijs- kwaliteit verhouding. Leuke, betaalbare wijnarrangementen. Vriendelijk personeel.
