Alte Weinwirtschaft - Cochem

Looked like a great place to eat. Good terraces. The menu is okay. No fresh green salads. We ordered the goulash soup and it was delicious. Then we had the Mediterranean bread. It was terrible and did not contain the ingredients on the menu....Our friends had the calf Cordon blue and the other pair had cocks. They all enjoyed their food. The problem was the service. Servers were disinterested in customers. Eating was very late. We couldn't use credit cards for an expensive dinner and there was no advanced notice that it was just cash. There are many wonderful restaurants in Cochem. One more.

Bad food. Food al ready make before and they warm it up. Go by others restaurants. Looks nice......but its bad. Eating isn't crying. Go to another.

Very long time from we ordered untill food was served. Ordered wine: bottle and glasses was placed on table. Need to open bottle and serve ourselves. Ordered schnitzel with french fries. Schnitzel was cold. Meal well below average quality level in Cochem. Recommend going elsewhere.

We had dinner here during a weekend away during the Christmas period. It all looks very nice and cozy. The food is of average quality, the service less. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant and we had to eat with the jacket on....Not recommended!

Waren in unserem Urlaub durch das rustikale Ambiente aufmerksam geworden. Jedoch wird der Urlauber davon nur getäuscht. ...Tiefkühlware (Pizza und Schnitzel)......einen strammen Max lieblos zubereitet ( nur Scheibe Brot, Schinken und Ei übereinander gelegt)...Manche Kantine macht selbst da einen besseren Job.Kurz gesagt ein Mittagessen zum vergessen.Der einzige Pluspunkt es gab einen Kinderstuhl.
