Sam’s Corner - Coalmont

Ordered a burger here and it was delicious! Very friendly and felt very welcome.

The family stopped in for hotdogs and fries. A couple of regular and three foot longs were awesome.a Along with orders of french fries, we had a great lunch.

Have never been to Sam 's corner before, even after living in Surfside beach for many years. I 've always liked Surfside beach better, so guess that 's why I never ate there. Just happened to be down in G.C. and stopped in to be able to say, Yes, I 've been there . Ordered their famous footlong hotdog and drink. Over $10.00. GROSS!! Bun wasn 't toasted, dog was cold and just a mess with chili, ketchup and mustard. Threw into trash can. Don 't usually eat fast food and this reminds me why. Cashier was very friendly, though! She was the only asset to this place. One and done!

I know it's a local iconic place, but the food is kinda expensive for cheap food. I'd pass personally, nothing to brag about. Hot dogs at the convience store are the same.

Good for a quick bite. Neat, clean, friendly. Counter serve, Tastey chili dogs. Great burger. Really good onion rings. 60's diner feel. Very good service.
