Bidra med feedbackI love the gift shop here! They had cute Christmas bouquets in the gift shop, and I liked spending time with the family here. Here there is a great family like ambience. I love the friendly waiters and how fast the service is! You make delicious food, so it is worth waiting for your reservation and paying the pricey selections.
We drove from Bay Area to LA. Typically we stop at In n Out but wanted to try something else this time. When I came to the building, the place was decorated with Christmas vibes and the place was full of people. Although it was busy, waiting for the restaurant lounge was only 5 minutes. Since we had our dog, there was not an outdoor space, so we decided to run and eat in the parking lot that had plenty of space. After the order they said the waiting time was 20 minutes, but it was more than 35 minutes. The food: whiskey smoked salt and brown sugar rubbed rib eye was the DELICIOUS. It was sweet, savory, salty, fat and charred. I'd get it back, but it was almost too fat. Fried green beans delicious and crispy. The sauce was also delicious. Overall, I would stop here if I was really hungry and felt like spending the money. I think the meal was too expensive for what it was and the waiting period lasted longer than expected.
The restaurant was great! Great decor, clean, the servers were polite and efficient, and the food was great. I had the best rib diving and it was delicious, delicate meat and perfectly seasoned Au Jus. The sweet potato fries were made exactly right, not as delicate as other places. I also know that the owners overnight RV parking in the lot. So much better than a loud rest area or a truck stop with half that their engines run all night. I was a little insulted by the big sign that said? RV Park is coming soon? because another will not take away any cost option for RVers. I understand that the business is here to earn money, but maybe if they build the RV park, they would consider including a dirt amount where overnight stays can be storage for $10 or so dry. Hardly any RV parks have this and it would really help those of us who only need a place to stop and sleep for a few hours.
This was my first time in Harris Ranch in many years, and everything impressed: The rooms are CLEAN. Not crisp, too much bleaching agent clean... really clean and comfortable. The honorable bar is easily in stock, but you are not here to stay in the room and eat cashews. The in-room coffee is good whatever it was for a Harris-branded mixture was on the dark side of medium and better than most of the k Cups you find in the grocery store. The pool is beautiful at night and the pool bar is a great place to grab a nightcap without fighting the crowd in the main restaurant. But if you want to eat, you have to have the busy room... the pool bar is just drinks! The food is as good as any place I was, and the steaks are legendary for a reason. The menu is simple and the waiters know their kitchen, so there is a chance that they can control you to something excellent when you ask. This is a great place for big meetings, and the costs are lower than anything comparable within a day trip.
We absolutely loved the prime rib, service was fast and friendly, even on a holiday weekend. Maria and her staff were great! Perfect spot for dinner if you are traveling on the 5fwy down the California Central Valley. From the water to our main dish it was absolutely delicious. We are definitely coming back. The only negative was an rude old man when he was giving me the rules and conditions on my service dog. He could?ve been more compassionate.
